Mexico City

Rolled into Mexico City last night and ending up finding a nice little irish pub to celebrate st. patties day in. Flight was a breeze. Going to check out some sites this aft, and then flying to Puerto Escondido later today.

Weird to be back in a hostel; I didn't realize how comfortable I got in my new pad in Van. I kind of forgot the fact that I don't really fit in bunkbeds all that well. I'm sure that I'm due for cranking my head off a low hanging door frame any time now.

Anyway, will chat with you all soon.

Ciao

PS. My broken spanish has come back like a charm. "Es Necessssssito..."

    Heh Ry,
OMG,you're a mover and a shaker as they say.
How come you didn't drop in for coffee on the way down? We're not that far off course. Bay Mariner, Indian Shores - next time you're in town.
I haven't talked to your Mom or Tara in a while, so I'm just assuming they've given you the "do's and don'ts" of Mexico. My God, be careful down there. Don't talk to anyone, you hear me!
Glad to hear you and Sime had a night on the town. I'm sure you both had a drink or two. It's your liver, as they say.
Take care, and don't talk to anyone, you hear me! Did I say that already?
    Love ya

Come on man - you are over 30 years old now - use words with more then 3 letters so old folks like me can understand you! Just kidding - use what the hell you want! Just remember it could backfire on you in Mexico.

  10. Auntie Marion,
Given my lack of Spanish, this wholĂ© ´don´t talk to anyone´is working out well. As for that coffee, maybe I can stay with you guys on the way back? I promise, no visitors. Ha.

  12. Courtney,
Yes, I got pretty emotional. ´No Henry....don´t goooo´ I think it comes with age. Don´t worry, I won´t trade you book away for a surfboard....in fact, a surfboard is pretty much the last thing I want to see right now.

  14. Colin, I think that I understood some of that, but not really. My mind is so cluttered with spanish verbs, that I can´t even think straight. I even tried to speak a little French last night to some traveller from France. I regret sleeping through all those boring french classes now. BTW, I DID manage to understand the last bit, "SC, BB, WFTS". Wouldn´t be the same without it!
